Background and Mission
Taiwan and Japan have closely cooperated for a long time in various fields and industries. At the moment, Japan is Taiwan’s third largest trading partner and one of the main sources of Taiwan’s international investments & technological partnerships; as well as Taiwan’s fourth largest trading partner. After TSMC and PSMC have successfully cooperated with Japan’s semiconductor supply chain and established their factories; exchanges between Taiwan and Japan have become more frequent and more valuable. This continued trend has shown that cooperation between Taiwan and Japan is beneficial and growing.
As the global industry now enters the trend of AI powered digital transformation, the Taiwan-Japan Tech Networking Alliance (TJTNA) was established to further promote the development of companies in both Taiwan and Japan. The association aims to gather companies, public & industry associations, legal entities, and academic research teams from various fields and industries that are interested in the Japanese market to establish and effective communication platform, to promote cooperation and business opportunities between Taiwan and Japan; as well as to further explore application fields and wider cooperation opportunities.
Serving as the chairman of the Taiwan-Japan Tech Networking Alliance (TJTNA) is the President of Acer Synergy Tech Corp., Cheng-ta Han and the Deputy Secretary-General of TCA, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of TwIoTA, and Director of TADA and GloRa, Sakura Yang will serve as the vice chair. The TJTNA will focus on the Japanese market and will promote the industrial cooperation between Taiwan and Japan through various strategies.
Service Desciption
- Exhibition showcases: in its starting stages, the alliance will focus on COMPUTEX, InnoVEX, and EdgeTech+. By participating in international events, exchanges and networking sessions will be held to promote business opportunities and industrial partnerships.
- Matchmaking platforms:
- Help Japanese organizations to come to Taiwan to visit and meet member organizations and promote more cooperation and partnerships between members
- Establish a database for Japanese organizations to seek advice and connect Taiwanese and Japanese businesses
- Connect with people through alliances, sharing experiences in overseas expansion or gather partners
- Organize multiple matchmaking activities (including matchmaking meetings, forums, seminars, etc.)
- Information sharing:
- Taiwan & Japan business and industry information sharing
- Provide members a platform to publish product information on the TIPPC website to help promote or share their businesses
