World’s First RISC-V Laptop Roma Officially Delivered: 8GB RAM and Pre-installed with Domestic OS
The Roma laptop was developed by Deep Digital Intelligence and debugged by Jianshi Technology. It is a collaborative project spearheaded by the RISC-V Foundation. The laptop is designed to provide developers with a genuine native RISC-V development experience, including high-performance toolchains and development tools.
Deep Digital Intelligence has not disclosed the price of the Roma laptop or its customers. However, the company has committed to donating a batch of RISC-V laptops to higher education institutions and research institutes dedicated to studying RISC-V. The company has also announced plans to release a new generation of Roma laptops by the end of the year. The upcoming version will feature a more advanced SoC, operating system, and a suite of innovative RISC-V software solutions.
